Kaki General Store | Shazneen Todiwala

Since the shop is named after Dinesh’s (shop owner’s) aunt – Kaki, Using ‘Bindi’ as the branding element. Using motifs of different kinds of ‘Bindis’ thereby creating product mandalas (which in Hinduism represents The Universe) – The idea is to represent the variety/range of products available at a general store. Using street-style sign-painted type so that the essence of a street shop is not lost. Also keeping in mind the undergoing gentrification in Saidulajab, the identity is a mix of street type + modern colours .
