Mongol Invasion Kills Over 70% Of The Population, Making India One Of The Least Populous Countries In The World | Sidhesh Gautam
After Mongols killed 70% of India’s population, the survivors migrated towards the peninsula. Among them were many scholars, engineers, artisans, philosophers, doctors and skilled forces due to whom the southern empires flourished. Instead of continuing trade from the silk route, they decided to explore the sea route and discovered Britain, Spain, Australia and America. The Indians sailed for knowledge and united by a handful of diverse citizens, the country became the first democracy. India managed to flourish and bring in crowds of tourists and scholars to revisit the history of the world in its streets, bazaars, beaches and museums.
