Mohandas Gandhi Settles In South Africa As A Successful Attorney At Law | Tanaya Khadke
As Gandhi stayed back in South Africa and practiced Law in Africa, he influenced Nelson Mandela and other activists who in turn formed a union for freedom from Britishers. The civil rights movement was enacted. Further Gandhi helped Immigrants from India and led a movement in South Africa to form Congress. Taking a step closer to form a secular state in Africa with the help of Nelson Mandela, the Republic of South Africa and a province of India was formed. As Gandhi had a dream of Secular India, he tried to integrate the same norms in South Africa which further led to the Republic of India and South Africa. Britishers Continued to rule in India and got a hold over the country with a communal Indian Leader. Refugees from India started reaching South Africa for the betterment of life & to live peacefully as Indians.
