Rabindranath Tagore Becomes India’s First Cultural Minister | Shweta Shetty
Rabindranath Tagore as the culture minister of India paved the way for a ‘cultural renaissance’. During his time, Tagore worked towards spirituality and gave wings to people expressing their individuality in a safe space. The social borders of our ancestors were abolished making way for a homogeneous society that paid no attention to caste, colour, sexuality or creed. To depict it all, a ‘train compartment’ was used as the device. Further, as easter eggs to explain the concept, we have two adverts that show India’s globalization and the sheer freedom of expression.
