On the 12th October, 2005, the Indian Parliament commenced one of the most powerful tool for indian citizens, the Right to Information Act.The act aims “to provide for setting out the practical regime of right to information for citizens”. This was the starting point of a revolution and complete transparency between the people of this nation and its government. The theme for my artwork would revolve around this transparency and the impact it’s made. Using my illustration style I plan to unravel the threads of this transparency, which is intangible but holds together a rich history and the thin line between these two social bodies.
