Tomb of Love | Supreetha Krishnan + Shreya Arora

While the Taj Mahal has come to be known as the quintessential symbol of love to the world, it has a rich history behind it that is usually overshadowed by its romanticisation. Through our artwork, we wanted to highlight the unseen story of the Taj Mahal, the night to its day, the unexplored ‘tomb’ juxtaposed with the overly romanticised ‘love’. The illustration style and the motion strives to achieve a balance between the two that neither overwhelms, nor bores the eye.
